I’ve always loved to write, as far back as I can remember. Ten years ago I wrote two novels (unpublished), then before I could get around to do anything with them I had a burn out and spent several years learning to cope with the after effects. I struggle with chronic fatigue and pain, but I’m determined to get back to writing – since it’s something I love so dearly.

2017 is the year that I’m planning to properly get back to writing, including final edits of my two finished novels and hopefully publishing them. This blog is going to chronicle my way as I rediscover the love of writing and go through the process of said editing and publishing.

It will most likely also contain a lot of personal ramblings, me gushing about books I’ve read or movies/tv-shows I love, and other random things.

    I noticed you’re a chronic pain sufferer and that’s (sadly) something I can identify with. I’ve lived with migraines since I was a young child and now I’m…well, quite a bit older, they’re a lot worse than they used to be, lasting much longer. So my days are built around medication and varying degrees of what I can do. Anyhoo. That’s something I wish neither of us had to cope with!
    The writing, on the other hand. Yep. 2017 is the year we BOTH get back into it. šŸ™‚

    • I feel for you. I’ve had some close friends with migraine, so I’ve seen some of how debilitating they can be. I think when living with (any type of) chronic pain, it’s a day-to-day thing. Seeing where you’re at for that particular day and doing what you can based on that. If all you did one day was breathe, that’s okay too. It’s a mindset I’m still struggling with though, as it’s very easy to get caught up in the feeling of not doing enough, and only seeing what you’re not managing to do – rather than the little things that you did!
